Until now, the personnel responsible for equipment maintenance have been regularly touring each building within the factory. By aggregating data to a central PC via PLCs installed in each building, we can eliminate these regular inspections while monitoring the operational status of on-site equipment in real-time and significantly reducing the workload through automation of report generation. This system captures alarm signals from the PLCs distributed across various factory sites and monitors alarm occurrences at regular intervals on a PC. If an alarm is triggered, it promptly notifies the equipment maintenance personnel via internet email to their mobile phones.
